Are you interested in climate and student activism?

Then you are invited to participate in two workshops around the interconnection between climate activism and student activism in Denmark and Iceland. The workshops are for students to develop ideas, convert them into projects and learn how to turn those projects into a reality. The participants will get new skills and a large network among students in Denmark and Iceland.

The workshops are held on May 23-25 in Copenhagen and on September 26-28 in Reykjavik. Travel, accommodation and meals will be covered by the organisers.

You can apply to join the workshops by sending an email with your motivation, your previous experience with climate and/or student activism and which education you are enrolled in. The email should be sent latest on March 25th to: kristine@dsfnet.dk

It is not a requirement that you have previous experience with climate and student activism, but you need to have an interest in learning and sharing experiences with other students. Selected participants will have to commit to participate in both workshops as well as a follow up online meeting to share tools and inspiration achieved during the workshops.

The workshops are organised by The National Union of Students in Denmark (Danske Studerendes Fællesråd) and The National Union of Icelandic Students (Landssamtök íslenskra Stúdenta). The project is funded by the Nordic Youth Pool for Climate and Biodiversity – The Danish Youth Council (Dansk Ungdoms Fællesråd).
